Prologue

My ex-girlfriend Yuzuki Manami was a standout "individual".

The classroom is a rather unique environment.

Dozens of people of the same age are trapped in the same space for an entire year.

How could that be repeated over and over again, except when I was a student?

And students learn in the years between elementary school and high school graduation.

In any environment, the will of the group is respected, and the "individual" who tries to break out of the prescribed boundaries is usually unwelcome.

However, when one becomes a distinctive "individual," one can easily overturn the will of the group.

My ex-girlfriend, Yuzuki Manami, was such an existence.

She is beautiful, flirtatious, and the center of the class.

The period of time that she and I were together was described by those around us as a "miracle".

But we eventually parted ways.

There is only one reason.

─ ─ Because the lovers relationship itself was a fake.

Since they don't like each other, it is a perfectly natural consequence that it will end when they no longer need each other.

This is also the reason why we have not exchanged any words since our breakup.

They graduated from high school and have separate colleges.
